The Birthday Girl
Last week the Juniorette turned 9 years old. A few days earlier we celebrated with our family and the Juniorette’s Godparents in a local restaurant. The weather was kind to us and everyone had a nice time. On the actual date of her birthday we took the Juniorette and a group of her friends to Giessen by train to visit Mathematikum. This is a science museum for kids. The staff prepared a birthday table for the Juniorette and then showed the kids round. They participated in a rally and had to track down the answers to the questions in the museum. After being fed and watered we headed back to Marburg by train.
The kids had a great time and all really enjoyed the train trip. Not sure if the other passengers enjoyed it as they were very loud. But birthdays are meant to be loud when you are 9 years old.

The Juniorette’s favourite present was her new Werder
She had a great birthday and really enjoys celebrating it twice; once with her family and once with her friends, but I wonder how many years that will last?

My best B-day wishes to the Juniorette! Celebrating twice a year is always good. Even I still enjoy it. LOL. And I think you still have a couple of years of double celebrations ahead of you ;)
Happy b-day to the Juniorette!
One thing is for certain, things are constantly change. She'll look back on these double celebrations with fond memories. Your blog entries will help too ;-)
A very happy birthday to Miss Juniorette!!!
Happy Birthday Juniorette!
I'm a fan of Tim Borowski, too, but that surprised look of his sometimes scares me...
Happy Birthday to Borowski-ette! Well, kids that age love museums like Mathematikum, and older people too I believe. ;-)
So, your daughter is in the same league as Queen Elizabeth II, who also has two birthdays, the real one and an official one. Very handy for getting loads of pressies!
Happy Birthday, Juniorette! Wow, 9 years old already? I can't believe it.
Well, we won't have kids-birthdays with our little ones for so much years from now, but then come the exciting parties where daddy has to be the bar- and barbecue-master, and later they will come for birthday to celebrate with their parents and familiy (not only) because of their presents and everybody will be happy, too! And as an idea, we can work in teams, weather in the local football-club or in nature-conservation-kids-groups or whatever, with children and organize birthday-parties as long as we live! So we'll get used to the changes, and they will stay our children as long as we are here.
Happy birthday to your sweet and talented daughter! May she succeed with the goal kicks of life, and never get a red card!!
Thanks to everyone for the birthday congrats for the Juniorette :)
