Swimming update
The Juniorette has attended her first two swimming training sessions and absolutely loves it. Each session is 90 mins long and she is mainly concentrating on her breaststroke and backtroke. She is very excited and proud to be finally learning how to do turns. She is swimming 25m lanes and has made friends with a blind girl who is a few years older than her.
Above is a clip of the Juniorette with Minnie Mouse on our

great clip, so cute! She looks like a swimmer in training. ;-)
I'm doing 5 days a week and 3 extra cardio workouts to get in shape. I guess you'd say I've stepped up my game.. LOL
I've been too busy with myself and ill boy blue and so on and wonder how I could live so long without your blog! In fact, spring has startet, inside and outside, the first gardening activities and plans start, too, and it feels so good!We should maybe some day, when children are leaving, start a plant-growing-project, growing and selling herbs and roses ore something like that ... I'm very impressed of the training-plans of Juniorette, and of the dvd-films.
I can hardly wait to get back to the pool. I miss working out so much. I think another weelk or so of PT and my knee will be ready.
Juniorette looks so cute! I think it's great that she has so many interests.
Hooray for your little swimmer, and so good for her to make friends with a child who is living with a handicap. You must be very proud of her.
Those Disney characters are so sweet! I love how Minnie was stroking her hair, and Juniorette turned back to wave at her before she walked away. *cute overload moment*
I admire your girl, Mr. Haddock. She's doing things I've never done.
Awww. Sweet! Good to hear that Juniorette is enjoying her swimming lessons so much.
I actually thought of you and your family last week, as I enjoyed the Florida sun. But we skipped Disney and went for the wild life of parks and preserves. It was glorious. (Though we didn't see Minnie anywhere. I'm beginning to think she's not real.)
Expat Traveller - You've certainly stepped up your game. The Juniorette loves Mondays now as she does her swim training then! :)
Deepblue - See you this weekend! :)
Maribeth - Swimming is a great form of excercise. I need to get to the pool more often myself! :)
Ex-Shammickite - Proud as punch! :)
Lisa - The Juniorette loved the characters. Pluto is her favourite! :)
Canadianswiss - I'm beginning to think she is part fish! :)
I.I.Barkat - For our next visit to Florida we would like to do more wildlife parks rather than fun parks. We went to Fort de Soto park which we really enjoyed. Lots of birds and the beaches were fantastic! :)
Getting to pose with a giant character mouse is a childhood rite of passage that Juniorette seemed to enjoy!
