World Cup Tickets
We had a very pleasant surprise yesterday. We had a mail from FIFA informing us that we have tickets for the World Cup game France v Togo in Köln. We are happier than pigs in shit. We thought we had been overlooked. It may not be an England or a Germany game, but France are a class team and have Thierry Henry as there top attacking player. When in form I consider him to be the best striker on the planet.The Juniorette is supporting Togo because Togo is a little country and the obvious underdog. She may have course been affected by the English generic rivalry with the French. I am personally hoping for a goal fest.

Brilliant! I'm sure the game will be brilliant but not nearly as exciting as the atmosphere!

Nice! We got Mexico vs. Angola in Hannover. I heard someone on the radio call this a "Mickey Mouse" ticket. I tried to convince a guy who I teach english to trade me for his US / Czech game, but he did not go for it.
HAppy for you! I had South Africa TST tickets all the way to the final but then they failed to qualify on the last day so Ghana went through.
Didn't get tickets through the England Supporters club either so looks like I'll be watching it on the telly.
If England get trhough to play Argentina in Game 59 at gelsenkirken I might go along just for a laugh and try and pick up tickets outside the ground.

Excellent- good for you! You must be so excited. We're not really football fans but we'll still be watching the games on Premiere from the comfort of our living room. I know it's going to be nuts around here though with two games in Hannover.
Claire - We saw Mexico play Greece last summer. Mexico seem a pretty good team :)
