The Five Generations

At the end of last year my nephew became a father. His son is lucky not just to have a grandmother, or a great grandmother - He has a Great Great Grandmother!
I'm not sure how often this happens in families, but I reckon it's not that often.

Featured from Left to right. Young Cody, my Nephew, My Brother, My Mum, and my Nana.

  2. No it doesn't happen often. We had four generations when I gave birth to my daughters, but Grandma dies a few years later.

  3. Wow, five! I'm only part of a generation chain of four, but quite pleased with that.

  9. Whoa 5 that's pretty rare, statistically possible obviously if each child were to have their own at 20 then when the fifth gen is born the 1st gen would be 80 but I don't think I know of anyone else it's happened to. Fortunately it means your nephew's son will have a wealth of history and experience to grow up amongst and that is priceless.

Good to see you back btw my friend.
